All personal data relating to a client is only obtained and stored for the purpose of providing photography services for your event.

The Alison Busby Photography website collects a series of general data and information relating to a user. Personal data that is necessary to carrying out the services booked, will need to be retained until the contractual relationship has come to an end (i.e. up to the point that final images have been provided). Alison Busby Photography will retain contact details, however these will be deleted at any request of the individual. Alison Busby Photography would only be keeping these details for queries relating to the services provided and would not be used for any marketing purposes.
All Images will be retained indefinitely as this forms part of the contract between the client and Alison Busby Photography. If a client wishes any images to be deleted from storage or public domain this needs to be put in writing to Alison Busby Photography.
Storage of Data
Any personal data collected will be stored electronically on password protected devices or software. All client images/galleries are stored on a secure password protected image hosting website and physically backed up on password protected computers or hard drives.
Use of Data
Personal data is used solely for the purpose of providing the services set out within the client’s contract. Alison Busby Photography does not use any personal data for marketing purposes. Alison Busby Photography reserves the right to use any images taken in promotional material such as leaflets, social media posts, blog posts, websites and directories. This is set out in the client’s contract and images will only be used where a client has given consent. Alison Busby Photography will comply with any client requests for any specific images to not be used in this manner. Requests should be put in writing to Alison Busby Photography. Alison Busby Photography retains the copyright to all images taken and supplied unless stated otherwise stated in the client contract.
Right of Access
An individual has the right to request from Alison Busby Photography, a copy of all personal data held relating to them.
Right to Deletion
An individual has the right to request that the personal data held by Alison Busby Photography that relates to them shall be deleted. This request must be put in writing to Alison Busby Photography. Alison Busby Photography will comply as long as the processing of this data is no longer necessary to fulfil the contract obligations or on legal grounds.
